DESCRIPTION:

You are cordially invited to join us as we launch our new Members Section website ‘CEBM FRAMEWORK FOR STUDENT SUPPORT.’ We will bring you on a ‘guided tour’ of this conglomeration of resources designed and gathered for the English School Boards of Quebec. This is our ‘HUB’ where you’ll find resources to help you with your challenging students. We’ll begin with the CEBM Philosophy, including the ‘Gardener Analogy’, the Paradigm Shift and the CEBM Distinctives.

These will lead us to the Theoretical Framework which is the foundation for all that we do and promote at CEBM: Pyramid of Interventions, Attachment and Right Relationships, Trauma and Adversity, Youth and Immaturity, Emotional World, Play and Expression, The Sensitive Child and Sensory and OT Perspective.  These lay the foundation to help make sense of the wide range of challenges our students face and understanding what’s behind their behaviors.

We have incredible resources to support school teams working with the following Student Challenges: Anxiety and Alarm, Frustration and Aggression, Resistance and Opposition, Bossiness and Demanding Behavior, Disruptive and Alarmed Behavior, Defended and Hard to Reach, Sensory Issues, Attention Problems, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Bullying Problems.

This array of information then leads us to morphing this into the Best Practices to support all our students, but with particular attention to our Tier 2 and Tier 3 students both in and outside the classroom. The resources that you will see are all accessible, ready to use and downloadable. Our objective has been to bring the Materials which we recommend for the classroom, Nurturing Support Centres/Intervention Rooms, outside the classroom and outdoors, to your fingertips!  Please join us for this walkabout of our new website, Members Section, as we unfold this incredible body of resource for your perusal and use.
